It feels like summer across Acadiana as temperatures have risen into the mid to upper 80s over the last few days. Considering we were down in the 40s early last week, these 80s feel hot, especially with the moisture making its way back into Acadiana. Looking out for the next seven days, we may see the 90s for the first time this year late this weekend and into early next week. The 7-Day Forecast looks like summer, but I think we will see a few more fronts move through before the heat of summer grips us for months to come. I do think we will see the 50s a few more times before June. Besides a few showers and storms each afternoon, it looks dry for the next week or so. For the most part, the first two weeks of May may be dry.Enjoy the heat, if you do enjoy it. For me, I enjoy cooler, less humid days.
