It will be a great night to view the Lyrid Meteor Shower as the cloud coverage gets out of Acadiana. Under clear skies and with the addition of a new moon we will have perfect viewing conditions to watch the meteor shower. The best time will be a few hours before dawn Sunday morning with 10-20 meteors radiating from the point above at its peak time. You will need to dress warmly however lows tonight will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Happy Stargazing!
