Rainfall Totals…

We did see some decent rainfall totals across Acadiana yesterday, but the highest totals were across the western parts of the state where some areas saw 10 inches or more of rain.  On average across Acadiana, about 2 to 3 inches of rain fell. Some areas saw a little more than that. The areas that saw all of the flooding last week averaged about 1 to 2 inches of rain, so we were lucky that those areas saw the least amount of rain. Most areas did see at least an inch of rain. No major flooding was reported. It looks dry for the next week, so that is something wee need across Acadiana.
