We hit 100° on Friday at Lafayette, just a degree shy of tying a record. This marks the fifth time this summer we’ve reached the century mark or higher. The hottest day was the 102° reading back on August 18. Look for the heat to continue, although we may not breach the triple-digit mark again. However, there’s not that much difference between the upper 90s and 100°!
