After a warmer than normal winter so far across Acadiana, we finally saw temperatures closer to normal over the weekend. Actually, low temperatures were a few degrees below normal this weekend. Highs were about normal. Lows this morning were in the low 40s, but we are going to see the warmer air return fast. Highs this afternoon will be in the upper 60s, and we will see the mid 70s tomorrow through Thursday. Overnight lows will be back up close to 60 by the middle half of the week. The models were showing a cool weekend, but now they are bringing in the colder air next week with chance of rain over the weekend. It will be interesting to see if true winter will return in February.
