It’s early winter, but it felt more like spring today as temperatures rose into the upper 60s to low 70s. With some cumulus clouds filling the sky today, it even looked like spring. As high pressure at the surface sits over the northern Gulf, we will see a south wind, which will push temperatures into the low 70s for the next few days. The last few days of the year will be warmer than normal. A cold front will move through Sunday, bringing in much colder air behind it for early next week. Highs early next week will be in the mid 50s as lows will fall into the low 30s. We will see slight chance of rain as the front moves through, but most of Acadiana will stay dry.
