One of the coldest nights so far this fall is on the way for tonight. Temperatures will drop into the lower 30s by daybreak, with areas from around Hwy 190 northward likely to reach the freezing mark. Take time to protect tender vegetation or bring the plants indoors, if possible. Make sure outdoor pets have proper shelter to stay warm. The chilly air will linger thru much of this week with lows in the 30s. We’ll turn a bit warmer by the weekend, followed by wet weather Sunday.
