In Desperate Need Of Rain…

After some decent rainfall back in early September, the drought conditions are back in full-force. Live Doppler 10 Storm Tracker Radar was dry again Tuesday. So far this month at Lafayette, only 0.05″ has fallen at Lafayette Regional Airport, the official observation site. This is a whopping 4.18″ below-normal thru Tuesday. With only a slight chance of a little rainfall later Thursday, we’ll end this month with just a fraction of our normal rainfall. November is not looking much better, either, as the overall dry pattern looks to continue.
