By looking at the temperature map, you can see where the cold front was earlier this morning. It’s obvious it was just north of Shreveport. That front isn’t moving now, but it will slowly move through the area Thursday. As the front moves south tomorrow and upper level energy moves over Acadiana, we will see a chance of showers and storms. A stronger front will moves through Friday, bringing in much cooler air in for the weekend. Lows over the weekend may be in the low to mid 50s. We will see cool mornings and mild afternoons. It will be the nicest weekend we have seen since spring. We will finally see some fall weather across Acadiana.
