January is nearly in the books, so we can look back at what was a month of swings. A cool, wet start was replaced by a drier, warmer end. Our rainfall will end at 11.18″, which is 5.33″ above normal. The average temperature thru the 30th was 55.7°, or 3.4° above normal. With chilly weather on the 31st, those numbers will drop slightly. Looking ahead, February will likely feature warmer-than-normal temperatures with rainfall close to normal.
