A heck of a storm system is shaping up for much of the country over the next couple days.  A dip in the jet stream out West will induce low pressure near the Oklahoma Panhandle, moving to the NE towards the Great Lakes by Friday.  Cold air on the northwest side will result in a band of heavy snow from Colorado to Michigan, where over a foot could fall in spots.  Meanwhile, we’ll see showers and storms in the pre-dawn hours Thursday ahead of a potent cold front.  An active pattern is setting up with another monster storm for the mid-section of the country next week.
