Where Is The Cold Air?

Right now the cold air is in Canada and Alaska, at least most of it. Some cold air is starting to make its way into the northern parts of the country. It’s hard to decorate for Christmas when it feels like spring outside, but that’s the way it’s been for the last several days across Acadiana. Temperatures have been running well above average, and it may stay that way for at least another week. We do see some really cold air across Canada and Alaska, and that will eventually come south. We can’t stay in this weather pattern forever, and I do see signs of a colder weather pattern in about a week or so. It would be nice to have cold air for Christmas, and we may time it just about right. Will we see snow? Um, I highly doubt it, but cold air is a very good possibility. If you like this warm air, enjoy it while it’s here, because many cold days are still ahead before spring.
