Here’s an update on the chance of severe weather tonight. Not much has changed from Chris’s previous blog. The risk is still there for severe weather late tonight and early tomorrow morning, mostly across the central and northern parts of the state. The instability and wind shear will be better across those areas. Most of the Slight Risk for severe weather is north of our area, but severe weather is still possible across Acadiana. The main threat will be strong winds and hail with a very small chance of tornadoes. These storms will move through while the instability is weaker, so that will limit the severe weather potential. The storms will depart early tomorrow morning, and tomorrow will be a cool, breezy day.
