We will see the coldest air we’ve seen since last winter across Acadiana as temperatures will fall into the upper 30s to low 40s this weekend and into early next week. A strong cold front is moving through Acadiana, and the cool down will begin this evening as temperatures fall through the 60s with a north wind. Highs over the weekend will be in the 60s, and it will be breezy at times. This cold air will stay with us longer as the warming trend will be slow going into next week. We won’t see the 80s over the next week or so. Past today, it will be dry for the next week.
