We have seen a good amount of rainfall this summer, along with slightly “cooler” air. Thru Monday, our rainfall total boasts a surplus of 7.56″, while the average temperature has been -0.33° compared to normal. Not much will change for the remainder of month as widespread rainfall by the weekend will add to our rain totals, keeping our temps a little below-normal. Compared to last summer, what a difference! We endured severe drought conditions in 2011, but have been much wetter this year.
