From a climatology stand point we are in the hottest part of the year for Lafayette with an average high temperature of 93°. The good news is we will start to see the high temperatures slowly decline as you can see on the 14 day trends. Starting on August 25th the average high will fall to a cool 92°. Although 92° isnt all that cool Fall and Winter will be here before you know it. Lets just hope they get here sooner than later.
