A Drier Week…

For many, last week was very wet across Acadiana as an upper level low and deep moisture sat over Acadiana. It rained at my house for about 10 days in a row. That upper level low has shifted into Texas, moving most of the rain west of Acadiana. For this week, we will still see enough moisture in the atmosphere to give us a chance of showers and storms each day, but the rain chances will be lower than last week. Rainfall could be heavy at times with any shower or storm that develops. The best chance of showers and storms will be during the afternoon hours this week. It will be hotter this week as highs will be back up into the low 90s, which is typical for this time of year.
