We are in the middle of a wet pattern across Acadiana, which isn’t too unusual for this time of year.  Our wettest months are typically June and July, when we see over 13″ of rain.  The first three weeks of June were quite wet with over 8″ recorded at the Lafayette Regional Airport, but we didn’t see much rain between June 20 and early July.  The pattern changed, though, with daily rainfall occurring this week.  Look for more wet weather Thursday, followed by lower rain chances with just isolated activity Friday thru the weekend.
