Check out the picture of the waterspout, which was sent in by one of our viewers. This picture was taken near Fourchon. That is a great picture of a waterspout, and you can see the water swirling around the bottom of the funnel. Earlier this morning we had a report of a tropical funnel cloud near Gueydan. With a tropical airmass in place over Acadiana and offshore, waterspouts and tropical funnels have been common over the last few days, and conditions will remain favorable for them for the rest of the week.
