After a dry end of June, it looks as though we will start the month of July off much wetter. Over the weekend, we will see deeper moisture over Acadiana and weak disturbances moving through, giving us a decent chance of rain. With deeper moisture over us, we will see some heavy rain at times. We won’t see rain all weekend, but expect a chance of showers and storms, mostly during the afternoon hours. A few storms could be strong to severe. With more clouds and rain across the area, it will be little cooler, but the humidity will be higher than normal. We will see a decent chance of rain going into early next week. My yard needs it.
