We were hot in Acadiana Wednesday with a high of 93° at Lafayette. Across the Midwest, though, temperatures were much higher. Minneapolis hit 101°, Chicago 102°, and St. Louis 105°. By contrast, the lower 90s don’t seem so bad! While the heat will hold strong across parts of the Midwest and Mid-South over the coming days, we’ll see temps drop a couple degrees as rain chances increase.
