Tropical Storm Debby made landfall Tuesday afternoon near Horseshoe Beach, FL, with maximum sustained winds of 40 mph. Heavy rain has been the main threat, especially along the I-10 corridor, where over two feet has fallen since the storm moved in. Debby will continue moving to the east-northeast, emerging into the Atlantic Ocean where it may re-strengthen, but it will pose no further threat to the U.S. later this week.
