What a difference a year makes! Rainfall totals for this year up thru June 9th show that the Lafayette Airport has received a total of 26.51 inches of rain. That makes it now over 2 inches above the normal values. Last year was one of the driest on records and this time last year less then 13 inches of rain had fallen.
