The team of Dr. Klotzbach and Dr. Gray from Colorado State University have updated their predictions for the 2012 Atlantic Hurricane Season. With the early formations of Alberto and Beryl they did push up their initial forecast with adding 3 additional named storms from the previous forecast now believing that we will have a total of 13 named storms for the season. The 13 does include Alberto and Beryl, which means they believe we could see an additional 11 named storms for 2012. Also, they increased their predictions for Hurricanes adding one more possible Hurricane formation making a total of 5 for the season. Major Hurricanes remain unchanged.
