We are tracking a cold front, which is moving toward Acadiana, and it should be here by Friday. Yes, a cold front may move through Acadiana on the first day of June. Behind the front, there is some cold air as temperatures this morning across parts of North Dakota were in the low to mid 30s. That is cold for this time of year. I expect temperatures here Friday night into Saturday morning to dip into the low to mid 60s. Briefly, this front will drop humidity levels for the first half of the weekend, but it won’t cool off temperatures Saturday as we will see highs in the low 90s. Honestly, I think this may be the last cold front we see pass through Acadiana until September or October, and it may be the last time we see temperatures in the 60s until then. Enjoy it while it’s here.
