There are still spots available for the Intro to Weather Forecasting class I’m teaching at ULL on Friday morning, June 15.  This is a great class for anyone interested in learning more about weather, including how meteorologists create a forecast.  Weather affects all of us everyday and you’re sure to walk away from this class with a greater understanding of the science.  I’ll share websites I use to forecast and give you an overview of the various computer models.  This class is excellent for business owners that are in a weather sensitive industry, teachers that cover a weather section every year, high school or college students interested in a career in meteorology, and anyone that wants to learn more about weather in a casual setting.  This is going to be a great class and the $25 fee is way lower than most classes offered thru the ULL Continuing Education program.  If you have any questions, you can e-mail me at dpaul@klfy.com.  Sign up at www.ce.louisiana.edu.
